Izze
An Immersive 3D Web Experience
Izze is an immersive 3D web experience that turns a flavor lineup into something you can play with. Instead of scrolling past a row of product shots, visitors explore Izze's fizzy lineup hands-on, in a playful, interactive space that runs natively in the browser on both desktop and mobile. No downloads, no plugins, no app store.
I took the project from concept to launch: 3D modeling and texturing in Blender, real-time development for the web, and a concept for how the same experience could live on a touchscreen kiosk at live events.
Once the experience was built, I repurposed the same 3D assets to animate a short social advertisement. The cans, materials, and lighting created for the web carried straight into the ad, so the campaign could extend into vertical feeds without starting from scratch, and the brand looks identical everywhere it shows up.

New Life for a Classic
Izze has been making sparkling juice since 2002. The product has always been the hero: real fruit juice, bright flavors, and a can people recognize at a glance. But a brand that has been on shelves for more than two decades runs a quiet risk. Familiar slowly turns into invisible. And most beverage sites still present their flavors the way a catalog would, with a grid of product shots, a nutrition panel, and a store locator.
The goal was never to reinvent Izze. It was to make people feel the thing that made them pick up a can in the first place: fizz, color, and a little bit of surprise. A 3D experience lets the brand show that instead of describing it, and gives a heritage product a reason to be talked about again.
Standing Out on a Crowded Shelf
The sparkling beverage aisle has never been more crowded. A new wave of better-for-you sodas has won attention with loud branding and social-first marketing, and most of them compete on the same things: bright cans, ingredient callouts, and influencer content. Trying to out-shout them on volume is a losing game.
An interactive experience competes on a different axis. Very few beverage brands have a site you actually want to play with, and every second someone spends exploring a flavor is a second they spend building a memory of it. It turns a passive product page into something people share, and gives Izze a visual language that is ownable instead of borrowed from the category.
Design Principles
01
Flavor First
Every scene starts from the fruit. Color, light, and motion do the talking, so each flavor feels distinct before you read a single word.
02
Play Over Scroll
Visitors discover the lineup by interacting with it, not by reading about it. Curiosity does the work a headline usually would.
03
Zero Friction
Runs natively in the browser on any modern phone or laptop. No app, no plugin, no install. One tap from a link and you are in.
04
Built to Travel
One set of real-time 3D assets powers the website, the social ad, and the kiosk concept. Build once, show up everywhere.
The Website
Interaction
The experience is built around a simple loop: choose a flavor and the world responds. Every can gets its own moment, with color, lighting, and motion pulled from the fruit inside it, so moving through the lineup feels like tasting your way across it rather than clicking through tabs.
Discovery is the point. There is no wall of copy to get through first. The interface stays out of the way, and the product is always the largest thing on the screen.
Performance
Real-time 3D in the browser only works if it feels effortless. Every can was modeled and textured in Blender, then its lighting was baked directly into the textures, so the browser renders rich, finished materials without calculating them live.
Geometry and textures were optimized with mobile as the baseline, because that is where most people will meet this experience first: from a link, in a feed, on the go. The result is pure browser-native 3D that stays crisp and responsive on any device.
Kiosk
Concept
Because it was built for the browser, the experience is not locked to a website. This concept explores what it could feel like on a vending machine or self checkout kiosk during a live event: festivals, stadiums, concerts. Places where people are already thirsty, already waiting in line, and already surrounded by screens nobody looks at.
Tap in, explore the lineup, pick your flavor, and check out. Choosing becomes the fun part. For Izze, a routine transaction becomes a brand moment, the full lineup gets in front of people who may only know one flavor, and the brand earns a physical touchpoint that a can sitting in a cooler never could.
Social Advertisement
Campaign
To carry the campaign beyond the site, I produced a short vertical ad that sends Izze's most popular flavor swirling through a dynamic 3D environment. It reuses the same models and materials built for the web experience, so the brand looks identical on every screen, and it is made for vertical feeds, exactly where the new wave of competitors fights for attention.

Process
A look at the production process, from building and lighting the cans in Blender to the scenes that became both the web experience and the ad.
Why It Works
Takeaway
Izze did not need a new product or a new logo to feel new again. It needed a new way to be experienced. Pairing a heritage brand with interactive 3D gives people a reason to spend time with the flavors, a reason to share them, and a reason to remember them at the shelf.
Just as important, it was built as a system rather than a one-off. One set of real-time assets serves a website, a social campaign, and a retail kiosk concept. That is the kind of leverage a brand team needs when every channel is asking for more content.
